SVS Group, an Inc. 500 full service staffing firm specializing in Administrative, IT, Light Industrial and Banking/Mortgage placements recently promoted Adam Scribner, CPA, to Chief Financial Officer of the firm. Scribner previously served as SVS Group’s controller.
“Adam’s transition from Controller to CFO is a natural fit and one for which he is well groomed and qualified,” said Eugene Lupario, President, SVS Group. “I congratulate him on a well-deserved promotion.”
As CFO, Scribner is responsible for planning, implementing, managing and controlling all financial-related activities at SVS Group. He is also responsible for overseeing the firm’s financial matters relating to financial reporting and corporate professional insurance.
SVS Group welcomed Scribner as their Staff Accountant in 2002. In 2005 Scribner was named Senior Staff Accountant based on his leadership and dedication to the organization. In 2007, SVS Group promoted Scribner to Controller, responsible for directing the firm’s accounting functions and processes as well as overseeing financial and managerial reporting and compliance.
A 2000 graduate of University at Illinois Urbana/Champaign with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Scribner is a Certified Public Accountant with nearly 12 years of professional experience. Prior to SVS Group Scribner was an auditor for the National Futures Association. He resides in Frankfort, IL with his wife Kris and daughter Sydney
